What is going on???

I found myself waking up in a haunted sim with creepy spiders crawling all over me.  It was dark, misty and lightings everywhere.  I have blood dripping from my chest and I tried to walk but my feets are gone!!

Can someone tell me what is going on???

Hope

The “Hope” by Shiki is a beautiful beautiful dress that is elegant, sensuelle and stylish.  I fell in love with this dress immediately I saw Kay Fairey show casing it in the fashion show.  I especially love the “earth” color because of its’ gold and white shades and the conventional one piece design that does not look conventional and simple with its’ feather like sculpted prims throughout the dress.  I know…I have a soft spot for something soft and light.

However, taking pictures of this dress using my not-so-good laptop was a nightmare.  I had a lot of difficulties controlling the lighting and making the dress looks at its’ best under my lenses and had to try taking pictures at different sims with different backgrounds.  The two pictures below are the best results I could produced for now.  If you like a clearer picture of the dress, click here.

The Hope dress also comes in sky and white colors.

This dress comes just in time for a casting with the “Semi-formal” theme.  Though I have picked to wear the shorter version of the dress, its’ couture design has immediately elevate the look and because the dress itself is so beautiful I did not add any clothing on it.  Instead, I accessorize using gloves, an edgy ring and hair accessory.  The fur gloves is from the inspiration of one of Fall 2011′s must haves.  It’s white fur coincidentally reflects wonderful colors under the lights when pose at a right angle, giving a nice contrast to the dress.

Can you see the colors reflection on my fur gloves?  Both the photos are unedited.

Again, my favourite black ring from Chop Zuey Couture does it again in adding some edge to my style.

And I am happy to say that I, together with a few other models, have been selected for the photoshoot for the first issue of [Deviate] magazine.  Do watch this space for more details on the publication. ;)

Maxi Skirt II

I did a style post earlier about Maxi skirt which is one of the hottest trend for this fall.  I am seeing so many beautiful maxi skirts in SL and I can’t help wanting to create another style using the skirt.  Also, in line with the LE.LOOK! October style contest, there are just some good excuses to go shopping.

So this is the style I have came up with.  The undershirt is from Purplemoon which is actually a very nice and sexy piece that unfortunately I didn’t get to showcase here.  The top is from sYs, an exclusive release at the LE.LOOK! sim, that you won’t find at the top or blouse corner because it is a dress that I have resized to a top. ;)  And of course my favourite maxi skirt from GizzA that has lovely flow, print and colors.  Giz Seorn has creatively made the leg and skirt prims that wearing them together allow a complete and full maxi effect while walking and posing in it, just really beautiful.

Again, (my style) a clean look with the use of colors. :)

I have the pleasure of working with Rudyn again as she took my picture for this style.  I absolutely love the lights, shadows and colorful maple leaves on the wall.

I was wearing a pair of cool pump from sYs with this style so I have decided to take another photo with a different pose to show you that.

Old Hollywood Glamour

This is the first thing that came to my mind when I saw the final outcome of the photos done by Rudyn.

As I made my way back to the SL modelling world, the first thing I needed to have is a good close up shot and a full body shot for my profile.  Rudyn has kindly agreed to help me with that and I am loving the results.

The gown I was wearing is a limited edition by AZUL that was selling at the Modavia Fashion Week, and a black gown to die for.

This lovely gown has a single sleeve with shoulder flowers flowing down the chest.  What so special about this dress is its’ designs.   Firstly, I love the classic black color.  The silkiness of the fabric somehow accentuate with this color.  Then,  the long pencil skirt helps flaunt my body shape and with a fish tail like end and the use of more flowers with flowy fabrics on the hip, it adds elegant in a light way to this dress.

I paired the gown with a refreshing hat from Donna Flora.  An unconventional flower hat that has 2 little birds sitting on it.    As usual, I like to add colors to my ensemble so the soft and pastel colors contrast with the black gown perfectly.  My curl back hair, this hat, my makeup, the jewelry, the backdrop and of course Rudyn’s photography skills have help achieved the theme I wanted.

Me & My Crown

I promised a picture of my winning crown as the Chop Zuey Girl when it is available, so here it is.  The Imperial Malagasy Aurora Crown set is truly refined and exquisite and it is an honoured to be able to own it.

The glitery gown is one of the winning prizes, sponsored by Vero Modero, that matches the jewelry set perfectly.

There will be ad in the Moolto magazine and spread in the October magazine, so stay tuned!

I am excited about this wonderful beginning with Chop Zuey Couture.
