STAND4LOVE

STAND4LOVE is an awareness charity project to promote the visibility and rights of Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Straight loving couples to have the right to marry and be recognized by the law across the world.  It will be a picture campaign in Second Life to spread awareness and promote equality and tolerance.  The best pictures with the best message will be published in a book in SL and Issuu.  All the pictures will be spotlighted at the STAND4LOVE blog, flickr and facebook.

============== HOW TO PARTICIPATE==============

Each participant will take a picture of themselves in a plain (white or black) background then add the Stand4Love Logo. Put a message of support as well as your SL name and/or Title/Business (Optional) in the picture. If you have a business in SL, you may put your business logo as well in the picture. PLEASE MAKE THE PICTURES 1024×1024 or 512×512 in size. Submit your pictures to RicoRacer Flux or Editorial Clarity before July 15, 2012 to be included in the book.

All pictures received will be published in the STAND4LOVE blog as well as CSLTM and UrWorld blogs. It will also be promoted in Stand4Love Facebook page and Flickr group. We will take the best pictures with the best message of support and put it in a Stand4Love book to be published in Second Life and Issuu. Please Join us.

I have to say I wasn’t entirely comfortable when I saw this campaign.  Don’t get me wrong.  I have gay, lesbian and bisexual friends that I absolutely adore and respect but being a mother in RL, I often ask myself if I could comprehend the same if the same thing happened to my child.  It’s hard to say.  A mother’s love is, I have to say - complicated, which it really shouldn’t be, so after some thoughts I have decided to participate.

I would trade war, greed, jealousy, and hatred for LOVE, so I support STAND4LOVE.

Emotionally Shiki’s

While I welcome the season of Summer, Spring is really my favourite time of the year because it is the season where lives are renewed and flowers blossom….so before summer takes over spring in my part of the world, I just want to salvage the last feeling of Spring.

Putting on the Shiki’s Spring Dress helps me feel just right that.   This dress is colourful and full of beautiful flora textures with the use of feminine fabrics throughout the dress.  Chest and waist prims enhanced the sophisication, and while the dress is perfect for Spring, it is really a dress that one could put on anytime of the year.  The Spring Dress comes in 3 patterns that are named affectionately – Emotion (worn in picture below), Passion and Romance.

Airflow Mesh Tube Dress

AIR Winx, the owner of Airflow, has recently made some releases for the mesh range.   Still following closely the genre of his designs, AIR’s creations are always fashionable, sporty and easy to wear streetwear that is of high quality.

In the picture below, I am wearing the new mesh tube dress in Nudy color.  The tube dress is made of knitted texture and comes with two matching belts, one in black and the other one in the color of the dress.  Having said that, I am matching the dress with the LaGyo robe belt from CHIC2 event and it is equally fashionable.

Most Expansive Picture 2012!

Doug and I bidded for Leah’s photography services at the Ashraya Project and the bid ended raising $L40K more for the charity. \(^o^)/  So here’s the most expansive picture for the year, all for a good cause.  We decided to do color blocking for the shoot because it’s summer around the corner, so bright and bold is the way to go.
