Saviour Summer

Weekend is upon us and so is Fall, but before summer is completely gone, I am still enjoying the sunshine and warm breeze at the beach, salvaging every moment of it.  Zalyn, VoguE’s owner and designer, seems to know what I am thinking when she released two beautiful swinwears last Friday.

I’m wearing Tyra Bikini in the picture.  The beautiful mesh bikini also comes with a sarong with colourful flora prints.  Just what I need for my late August beach day.  You can find all the colours at VoguE’s mainstore.

In the picture, I am also wearing the sunglass called “Hope” created by Francis Guardian who is a new creator of mesh accessories in SL.  Hope comes in seven lovely colours and is perfect from beachwear to a crazy shopping day.  You can check out all Guardian’s items at Marketplace for now.   They are really cool and affordable.

Baroque

Collabor88 is celebrating its’ first anniversary this month, having alot of fabulous designers joining the event creating items for the theme of Baroque.  You can basically feel the excitement once you arrived at the landing point at Collabor88, outside the store.  There are colours, lights, people and many designers’ booths right in front of you.  It is just more “happening” at Collabor88 than it already is.

We see many wonderful designs with very affordable price for Baroque, mostly priced at L88 only, and they go together really well that sometimes I wonder if the designers have actually discussed what they are going to make.  I did a mental styling while I was shopping there and the results turned out great, so it was just a 30-minute effort max for this look.  The credits are not mine but the designers’ though, at Collabor88.

Vintage Fair 2012

Two more days to go before the wrapping up of the Vintage Fair 2012.  That means we only have two more days to stroll down the streets of the lovely CHIC, RETRO and CLASSIC sims to pick up those new releases at the Fair.

One of the items that I fell in love right from the beginning of the Fair (but only have a chance to blog it now) was the Jaci Dress from Molichino.  I have to admit, I have a soft spot for lace and love how delicate this full length dress looks with the mix of chiffon.  I have choosen to wear the one with two tones i.e. pink that’s fading to gold, and feel absolutely elegant in this dress.

I accessorized with vintage yet trendy items from Zenith, Handverk and Dahlink and am ready for a glamourous night out.

Unique As The Barcode

Recently, I noticed an old friend changed her looks to becoming more like me. I wasn’t certain if I was over sensitive about it so I asked another friend that I trusted to look at it and the first expression she said was “You guys could have been sisters!”

I am quite bothered about it, not because she is copying me but I couldn’t understand why this person bothers to be like me, if we have fallen out.

My friend has asked me not to have any expectations on this person, that way there won’t be any disappointments.  The truth is, I do have expectations on anyone that is called a friend because should someone call me a friend, I expect the person to act like one and I expect a friend to be sincere and to be geniune, because that’s how I would treat him and her.

Anyway, you could copy my looks but you can never copy my styles. I am just like a barcode with an unique element that no one else would ever had.

Lazy Night

It’s a lazy night for me.  With pouring rain outside I am stuck at home, so I put on my comfy lazy day dress and play some dressing up.  Finally, have a chance to try on this really cool ”Kiss Me” hair from Exile and my PurpleMoon necklace from the L’accessoires.
