I was working on this picture in PS while my 5-year old came standing next to me and asked what I was doing. I told her I am making a picture then I pointed at the screen and asked what she see…

“ooooo I saw a fairy!!” She exclaimed. “Can you make her move??”
“Sorry darling, it is a picture. I can’t make her move.” I replied.
Then, I pointed at the girl “What do you think she is doing?”

“She is looking out the window….” before I could say more my daughter continues “…and she looks bored sitting there!”

I have been rushing, rushing and rushing for the last couple of weeks and I have forgotten to put on a smile and how the coffee smell in the morning. I have also forgotten to stop and appreciate the sun rise. This morning, I finally slow down to enjoy the present. I read the newspaper while the morning sun gently climbs up warming the world, and as the breeze swept my hair away.

It’s the Thanksgiving weekend in Canada, the time of the year to give thanks to what we have. Last year, on my post, I gave thanks to my family and whatever was going on in my RL. This year, I like to give thanks to my SL – my friends, my readers, my designers, and everyone that has contributed to SL in creating such a wonderful platform for leisure.

Arriving just in time for this weekend is the Pardessus jacket and top from E-Clipse, made exclusively for the Zenshi Shopping Mall. Also, some magical black releases such as the gladiator sandals by ISON and the Windswept hair by Clawtooth. The Nastasia bag by Zenith and Merina skirt by Pure Poison may not have been this week’s releases but I am still thankful for such amazing creations that when I put everything together, is a business chic look that everyone appreciates. 🙂

Regardless you are celebrating Thanksgiving this weekend, Happy Thanksgiving to you and I thank you for taking the time in reading my posts. ❤

My Kind of Autumn

I survived my first week in the new job. Phew! It wasn’t bad at all. I had a lot of down time that made me wish I have access to my PS to do some photo editing, but no complaint. It’s good to meet new people and do something different.

The best part of my morning to work is a 10 minutes walk to the office. The morning breeze at this time of the year is beautiful, with temperature around 11C, breezy and sunny. Then, temperature rose to a beautiful 24C during lunch hours and up again to 28C in the evening. It’s neither humid nor dry too, just my kind of autumn.

Anyway, I’m glad Friday evening is finally here because it is another of my favourite time of the day. Blogging time!

I have for you, today, something from ISON, Clawtooth, Gizza, Olive and Tee*fy. Wish I could wear something like this to work, that’s if shorts are even allow in the office. 😛
