As you can see, I’m still in my vintage mood.   This Harris Tweed coat brought me way back to the 1920s era, an era that women started to wear what they feel more comfortable; an era that women’s fashion revolutionizedand and became more modern.   

This Tweed Coat from .SHI has alot of detailed work on the texture and prims.  Not only that, it also comes with a cape that can be worn as an option to the coat.  .SHI is offering four different colors and patterns of the coat, which mean you willl get four different taste of the 1920s.

In the picture I am wearing the Cloche hat, also from .SHI, and the 1920s hair that comes with the hat.  I also paired the outfit with a long pearl necklace and complete my look with a lacy skirt.

 

Thanks to the women in the 1920s and Joy Laperriere from .SHI that we have such beautiful and sexy clothing to wear in both lives.  This is my second attempt of photoshop editing.  Hope you like the results as much as I processed the picture. 🙂

I’ve got this Poncho from Vita’s for quite sometime now and finally have the chance to put together a style for it.  I pair the Poncho with a Retro top from Shiki Design that’s part of a dress for the Vintage Fair, and an old belt from my inventory (so I guess it is Vintage to SL’s standard :P) and a nice pair of royal blue pants from .SHI.

 The hat is a lovely find from Purplemoon at the Vintage Fair too and cute accessories from The Sea Hole at the Collabor88.  The lags are all worth it! 😛

This is my first attempt taking picture with the Firestorm viewer and I am loving the effect.  I did some cleaning up and sharpening using PS and voila!  My first edited photo. 😉

Here are two of many releases Shiki Design brought to you at the Vintage Fair.  I paired them with a .SHI 1920s wide brim hat and a pair of white gloves, both can be found at the Fair too.

Most of the items credited below are only available at the Fair.  If you do not like to be the slave to SL lag, wait until December 4 where the items will be available in stores.   Alternatively, pick up the survival kit some designers have handed out in their group.  Rezzed and wait til the textures on the panels are fully loaded before you TP into the Fair.  That will help the textures to load faster on your computer.

You can find Shiki at the Classic sim and both .SHI and Purplemoon at the Retro sim.

The Vintage Fair 2011 is finally here!  After all the waiting, waiting and more waiting, the fair finally opens its’ door to the public on Nov 11 at 4pm SLT.

I’m so excited to see what the designers have in store for us.  While you race yourself to the fair and fight the SL lag evil, now, there is one stop that you shouldn’t miss, that’s to the -Elan- shop on the Classic sim (195, 157, 21) for two of its’ rockin’ and eye popping releases.   Unfortunately, direct tp into the store is not allow, so be patience and stroll from the landing point.  -Elan- will be waiting for you. 🙂

As 80s as it can be-Elan- Rockin’ in fur & sequins set also potrays one of the Fall/Winter 2011/2012 trends with the use of fur and sequins.   I have to admit I am not a big fan of yellow but I would not hesitate to wear this yellow/purple set.   The colors and shades are fabulous and vibrance, and rockin’ just as the name suggested.  The set comes with a right puff up shoulder and long fur sleeve.  The purple sequins and almost shimmery skirt is just so perfect for a rockin’ party after your shopping trip.

I wanted to add more colors to my ensemble so I paired the set with a pink flowers buckle black belt and a pair of black boots….and hey it is fall and a pair of yellow leg warmer would be nice,and maybe some yellow highlight on my hair too!!
