Writer Block Challenge

My PC has given up on me since three days ago and until it is repaired, I am logon using a rather old laptop and living in the world of lags, without shadows. >.<

If you have sent me messages recently and haven’t heard back, chances are I have lost them because that’s exactly what happened – my PC automatically shut down a few seconds after I logon.  Please resend your messages in notecard if you need to reach me.

So, what have I been up to in the world of lag? I organized a very small part of my inventory, as well as entertaining myself with some stylings.   I miss blogging a lot but there’s nothing fancy I could do with the pictures until I am back on track with my PC.

Having said that, I remember this  blogger challenge called “Writer Block Challenge” that I read on Portia’s blog and thought it is something doable with a plain picture, so here I am!

I remember chatting with a friend sometime back  about blogging and she told me she doesn’t quite know what to write for her post at times.  This happens to everyone because there are days that we all have that mental block.  I thought this challenge is the perfect guide for a “mental block” day.

Let me get into the challenge now!

Click here to read step 1 to 3 which talked about picking outfit and taking picture.

……..and starting from Step 4

4) Share your favourite thing about this outfit.  Is it the clothing? A new hairstyle?

This Tweed shirt and pants set, from Kaithleen’s, is trendy and chic and easy to style as a formal business wear or a business casual wear for that dress down Friday.  I always love tweed textures.  It made one feels empowered.

Going for a semi formal look with this tweed set,  I added a soft colour blazer for a subtle contrast and some accessories to remind us Spring is here!

5) Why do you like this colour? These colours?

Blue is always an appealing colour on business wear because it is neutral, it is also the perfect colour on tweed textures, for that empowering look.  I have choosen light blue because the tweed textures standout more and hey, it’s spring!  I added a little pop of green to the overall ensemble, from the necklace and the clutch.

6) Are you accessorizing? If yes, why? If no, why not?

I accessorized with the wine necklace from Pure Poison and clutch from Olive and I used a semi casual updo hair for that effortless results, the same time making sure my neckline and necklace are not covered.   I always liked to add a statement piece onto my styling and the Wine necklace, with butterfly and flowers, is just the right touch for me, while the Olive purse that shouts “Fresh” adds a little playful essence to my overall look.

7) Why this pose?

The Berry pose from Label Motion looks is sassy in a natural way.  The body language shows someone that is confident and relaxed, just the attitude I need for this look!

8) How do you feel in this particular outfit?

I feel trendy, chic and definitely empowering!

9) Post your credits here (don’t forget your posemaker).
