I have done many contests in the past.  Runway, photo, styling, model search, beauty pageant and etc.  I have even tried my hands on logo designing contest but this blogger search entry  is my very first.

I love the Quirky Geek Chic fashion trend and in Mon Tissu it is really not hard to find clothing for the geek chics.  There are also many ways in wearing the Mon Tissu clothing because they are so versatile, so I wanted to present more than one style in my entry submission.  We could submit up to two entries but I have 4 or 5 optional stylings with the same clothings, that I really hope I could show them all….so I came up with the following picture and storyline.

For my picture processing, I merged two pictures into one.  It was quite a challenge to take the pictures at the same angle.  My pose on the right was actually the same orientation as the one on the left, so I flipped the image around before merging them.  That means I have two images that have the same orientation so I have to merge the image in the background as well as the flooring, making them look like they are one room.  It was quite a lot of work for my amatuer skill but I learned alot throughout this entire process.  It was fun and I love my set because bookstore and library are one of my favourite placess in RL.  Yeah, I am a geek chic in RL too!

Mon Tissu Blogger Search Entry #1 – The Geek Chic

THE GEEK CHICS

I wanted to style along the latest Geek Chic trend for my Mon Tissu Blogger Search’s entry because, to me, it is one of the coolest fashion trends.  The Geek Chic represents beauties both inside and out and they reminds us that not only we need to feed our wardrobe, we need to feed our minds too; and since it is pre-fall fashion everywhere on the grid, I created The Geek Chics in pre-fall fashion style for my entry.

For photography set, I envisioned a place that looks like a cool book store where Geek Chics would hang out, so I went out to grab some props.

While I was there, I bumped into this girl that is all styled in pre-fall fashion with lacey dress, sweater, boots and the quirky glasses, all from Mon Tissu.  Needless to say I love her looks to bit.

Now I am pondering….maybe I should just invite her onto my blog post?  What do you think? Two is always better than one. 😉
